As an active member of the committee, you may choose whatever degree of participation suits you at any given time. One of the more active roles that may appeal to you include presenting stock ideas to other members during our twice-weekly “Livestox” webinar meetings. This need not be any deeper than to request that we review the chart of a stock you’ve been watching, or that you’ve seen others mention. Perhaps you can address the fundamental case.
A less proactive role is to regularly attend the Livestox meetings. This is where our “crowd-sourcing” approach can succeed, or fail. The diversity of our membership is a function of its quantity, and that diversity can offer perspectives the rest of us might otherwise miss. My analysis of the stock chart is part of the presentation, but it is not a vote up or down on adding the stock to our virtual portfolio, which requires present members.
Your membership doesn’t require participation of any sort. Perhaps you’re only here to copy the trades we make in the virtual portfolio. Maybe your motivation is to learn the technical analysis and charting skills that I teach by way of reviewing charts that members put up for review. All of which is perfectly acceptable. Please let me know how I can help you to get the most out of your subscription.
